ABOUT THE ART
British artist Mr. Doodle (Sam Cox) has transformed his signature black-and-white drawings into a globally recognized visual language, filling everything from sketchbooks and canvases to entire rooms with an endlessly interconnected universe of whimsical characters, expressive faces and playful abstract forms. His distinctive style, often described as "Graffiti Spaghetti," blurs the boundaries between street art, illustration and contemporary Pop Art.
Released in 2026, Colour Pops introduces vibrant bursts of color into Mr. Doodle's traditionally monochromatic world. The Blue Pop edition features a densely packed composition of interlocking cartoon-like characters, exaggerated eyes, smiling faces and fluid geometric shapes, punctuated by brilliant blue gradients that create striking moments of contrast against the bold black-and-white imagery. The result is a playful yet meticulously balanced composition that celebrates the artist's unmistakable visual identity while exploring a fresh dimension of his evolving artistic practice.
Produced as a timed open edition, Blue Pop was available only during a designated release window, making the now-closed edition a collectible example of Mr. Doodle's contemporary printmaking. Expertly reproduced as a fine art giclée print on premium 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, the work captures the crisp lines, saturated color accents and intricate detail of the original design.
Featuring the artist's pre-printed signature and date within the composition and accompanied by an official Mr. Doodle Certificate of Authenticity, Blue Pop offers a vibrant expression of the artist's imaginative world and his distinctive contribution to contemporary street and Pop Art.
