ABOUT THE ART

"I am excited to announce that I have partnered with the DPH on a pro-vaccine campaign called #VaccinateSF. It is currently visible on every digital bus stop, inside every bus, and on the outside of 50 buses in San Francisco. For me, this campaign is to encourage you, not convince you.

I will share my understanding about why I believe one should get vaccinated, but I am relying on info from the Mayo Clinic, CDC, and Harvard and Stanford Medical Schools. If you do not trust these institutions and their scientists, no arguments I make will be effective. But if you do, I will explain why I believe getting vaccinated is important and worth the hassle, even if you are young and healthy.

Today (5/6/21) I am releasing three new artworks: a Vaccinated Bears print, a small Bandaid painting, and a large Bandaid painting. The first two will be available for 24 hours, and the third is an edition of five. 50% of sales will form a funding pool for public art projects by local artists, including an upcoming project supporting vaccination.

The bandaid is a symbol of healing."
