ABOUT THE ART
This rare Swindle Magazine issue (#8), featuring 'Banksy; A Naked Truth', a 10-page interview with the reclusive artist by artist Shepard Fairey and "Beyond the Street's" Roger Gastman, titled 'The Man, The Myth, The Miscreant' (with artwork by Banksy, front and back covers).
This US quarterly publication (which ran only from 2004-2009) had the artist Shepard Fairey as the Senior Creative Director and Roger Gastman as Editor-in-Chief.
Significantly, Banksy's 2006 interview coincided with with his highly-acclaimed and star-studded art show, 'Barely Legal' in Los Angeles; widely considered to be his international break-out exhibition (it was held over the weekend of September 15-17, 2006), catapultting him to international recognition (and infamy).
