ABOUT THE ART
Sculptor Richard Orlinski is passionate about the action of light on matter.
He is constantly innovating to enhance the reflections on his works, so that the light animates them even more... Facets to reinforce contrasts of light and shadow, brightly colored lacquers, transparency effects, interactions between full and empty spaces... His sculptures always interact with light.
This time, Richard Orlinski has designed a double innovation for his Kong brandishing a barrel: reflections in an infinite number of shades and a unique coloring for each copy. To create this effect, he fused a subtle blend of 5 colors.
An assembly of amalgamated colors, never completely blended, that gives each sculpture its own unique coloration, with a preponderance of black, green, blue, violet or red.
Each piece, with its multiple reflections, evokes something magical, evoking the fusion of the colors of the rainbow.
