ABOUT THE ART
As a self-taught and unconventional artist, Fin DAC is best known for his exploration of portraits of emancipated and independent women. Over 14 years, he has defined and perfected an atypical painting style that he has dubbed "urban aesthetics."
Her work challenges the world to move away from common sexualized visions and colonialist attitudes surrounding the artistic representation of women. Preferring Eurasian subjects and inspired by heritage and traditional clothing, Fin DAC carefully illustrates her models/muses: each work reframes racial and sexual stereotypes and rewrites a narrative that celebrates the beauty in the strength of each of their cultures.
