ABOUT THE ART
Handiedan's digital collage work is an exploration of feminine beauty, strength, and the layers of complexity we accrue over a lifetime. By juxtaposing traditional pin-up girls with ornate backdrops, Handiedan creates a futuristic vision of beauty.
A Dodecahedron is a 12 sided shape which is said to represent the universe. Handiedan’s subjects are captured in a moment of serenity, the flow of energy between them blending them together in a loving embrace.
Speaking of the meditative piece, Handiedan states: “Individually they embody two opposite qualities entailed in love, the sensual and the spiritual.”
From a limited edition of 11, this ceramic tile is signed and numbered by the artist. Please note, the piece is framed in a 20mm black box frame floated on white card with a 5cm window mount and regular glass.
